San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce
The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1870 and has since made significant contributions to the development of San Diego. Its mission includes providing member businesses opportunities through networking, advocacy, and business resources, and making San Diego a prosperous region.
MMASC is the oldest and largest association of its kind in the nation and is recognized by both the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and the League of California Cities. The organization's more than 500 members represent local governments serving as estimated 15 million residents.
South County Economic Development Council
The South County Economic Development Council is a non-profit created to improve and enhance the South county's and border region's economy, image and quality of life; and to heighten public awareness of Southern California's most desirable location to live, work and dream.
International City/County Management Association
Founded in 1914, ICMA, the International City/County Management Association, advances professional local government worldwide. Our mission and vision is to create excellence in local governance by developing and fostering professional management to build sustainable communities that improve people’s lives worldwide.
The San Diego chapter was chartered in 1947. Our members represent financial and educational institutions, retailers, hospitals, high technology firms, manufacturing, government agencies, service industries, construction, tourism, publishing and airlines, as well as independent consultants and students.
